The best way for us as parents to model healthy eating is to have our children in the kitchen alongside us. Let them assist in preparing the meal and doing part of the cooking since children learn from both watching and doing. By involving your child in the kitchen with you are setting them up with skills that they will use for the entirety of their lives.
